How Does GPS Tracking Work in FieldTask?

Learn how FieldTask tracks your employees using GPS through Route Map and Live Location.
FieldTask uses GPS tracking to help you monitor your employees while they are working in the field. It provides two ways to track their location:
- Route Map
- Live Location
Route Map
The Route Map shows the route an employee has taken to reach a specific location.
It provides periodic location updates along the route, allowing you to see where the employee was at different points during their journey.
From See Details, you can also view the employee's:
- Check-In time
- Check-Out time
Live Location
Live Location shows the employee's current position while they are online.
You can also switch to Last Detected Position to see the most recently detected location of an employee who has gone offline.
