How to Remove a Line Item from a Job on the FieldTask Mobile App?

Learn how to remove a Line Item while creating or editing a job in the FieldTask Mobile App.

You can remove a Line Item from two places:

• Job Creation
• Job Editing

Remove a Line Item During Job Creation

If you add a Line Item by mistake or decide that it is no longer needed while creating a job:

• Locate the Line Item you want to remove.
• Tap the cross (X) icon in the top right corner of the Line Item card.

The Line Item will be removed from the job before it is created.

Remove a Line Item While Editing a Job

If a Line Item no longer applies to an existing job, you can remove it by editing the job.

To remove a Line Item from an existing job:

• Open the Job Details page for the job from the FieldTask Mobile App.
• Tap the Edit option on the top right.

• Navigate to the Items section of the edit form.
• Locate the Line Item you want to remove.
• Tap the close (X) option in the top right corner of the Line Item card.

The Line Item will then be removed from the job.
