How to Create a Job from the FieldTask Mobile App?

Learn how to create and assign a job directly from the FieldTask Mobile App.

To assign a job from the Mobile App:

• Tap the '+' option on the bottom navigation bar.

• Tap Add Customer.

The job creation process is divided into four sections:

• Basic Info
• Customer Location
• Schedule
• Items & Documents

Basic Info

In the Basic Info section, enter the following information:

• Job Name
• Job Description
• Theme Colour

Customer Location

In the Customer Location section, provide:

• Customer
• Location

Schedule

In the Schedule section, provide:

• Assignee
• Start Date
• Start Time
• End Date
• End Time

If you want to give your field technicians the flexibility to choose their own start time, select Anytime.

If this is a recurring job, select Repeat Job and choose how you want the job to repeat.

Items & Documents

In the Items & Documents section, you can add:

• Line Items
• Documents

Once you have entered all of the required job information, tap Create Job to finish the process.
