What Types of Proof Does FieldTask Accept?

Learn about the different types of Proof you can submit for Jobs, Line Items, and Notes in FieldTask.

FieldTask allows you to submit Proof to document your work and provide evidence of what was completed.

FieldTask currently accepts two types of Proof:

• Image
• Audio

You can submit either type individually or use both, depending on what your Organization requires.

Add Proof to Line Items

You can also attach Proof directly to Line Items.

In addition to Images and Audio, Line Items allow you to attach a file from your device's local storage.

This gives you more flexibility when a required Proof is already saved on your device rather than needing to capture it directly through the FieldTask Mobile App.

Add Proof to Notes

Proof can also be attached to Notes alongside the text you enter.

This allows you to provide additional visual or audio information together with your written note.

📌 Note: Proof can include a timestamp and geolocation. Whether these details are recorded depends on your Organization's settings.
